A collage of electronic-analog sounds respond to sequential images while projections are modified by hand with filters, focus & prisms in response to psychedelic sound. Depending on strategy, but mostly telepathy & synchronicity, the performance unfolds … strange at times, capricious, and surprising to both performers and the audience."
Architecture of the Sun is a live projection duo composed of Brittany Gravely and Jenn Pipp, who met while studying at SMFA and currently live in Boston. They will be joined by long-time musical collaborators, the Glass Shivers. You can sample the latter's sound on their
myspace.
Opening the show will be a film loop by Matt McWilliams and Julianna Schley. Julianna is also the reason there will be birthday cake!!
